My favorite Japanese places and gourmet

A gourmet trip to Himi (Toyama Prefecture), about 60km by car from Kanazawa Station on the JR Hokuriku Line.

There are old townscapes and nationally designated historic sites that retain the remnants of the Edo period, making it an ideal town for a walk.

This is a group of gassho-style villages in Shirakawa-go and Gokayama in the Hida region. It was registered as a Unesco World Heritage Site (cultural heritage) on December 9, 1995, making it the sixth World Heritage Site in Japan.

Himeji Castle, a national treasure, became Japan's first world cultural heritage in December 1993, along with Horyuji Temple in Nara. It is nicknamed "Shirasagi Castle" because of its graceful appearance as if a white egret spread its wings.

From Kanazawa Station, head north on the "Noto Satoyama Kaido" that runs on the west coast of the peninsula. You can enjoy the nature and seafood sushi on the Sea of Japan side of about 350km.

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route is one of the world's leading mountain sightseeing routes that runs through the Northern Alps, which is lined with mountains at an altitude of 3000m.
