Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route

The total length from “Ogisawa Station” in Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture to “Tateyama Station” in Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture is 37.2km, and the highest point is 2450m.

Anyone can feel free to enjoy the magnificent nature and spectacular scenery as they travel while connecting vehicles.

Official site https://www.alpen-route.com/en/

When climbing from the Toyama side, Tateyama station is the starting point.

You can transfer to the cable car or bus and go up to Murodo at once, or if you have enough time, you can get off at Bijodaira, Midagahara, and Tengudaira on the way and take a walk.

There is a vast view of Murodo, and there is “Mikurigaike” in it, so you can enjoy a fantastic view. On a clear day, the mountains of Tateyama are reflected on the surface of the water and it is very beautiful.

Take the trolley bus from Murodo to Daikanbo.

From the station building on the cliff, you can see Lake Kurobe and the mountains of the Ushirotateyama mountain range.

From Daikanbo, take the ropeway and cable car, and if you go to Lake Kurobe, you can reach Kurobe Dam.

By the way, here is a recommended gourmet.

There is a full-fledged restaurant in the Murodo building, where you can of course enjoy a variety of meals. Here are two of my recommended Japanese soba noodles.

The first is “Tateyama Soba” in the Murodo building. It’s a standing eater.

The second is “Kurobe Soba” in Kurobedaira.
